On the free line

Transferring your registered agent to us costs $0 and we prepare and file the change ourselves. We charge nothing for it because switching friction is the only thing keeping people with an agent they don't like, and we'd rather remove it than profit from it.

Government fees

Passed through at cost. No exceptions.

Filing offices charge fees to process documents. Those fees vary by jurisdiction, by entity type and by filing, and they are set by governments, not by us.

We show you the exact amount before we submit anything. We charge you that amount. We attach the receipt to your file so you can check. If a jurisdiction offers expedited processing and you want it, that price is shown too and it's your call.

Marking up government fees is how quoted prices in this industry stop matching invoices. We don't do it, and we'd rather write that on the pricing page than in a footnote on page four of the terms.

The honest bit

We're not the cheapest, and here's why.

There are registered agents advertising a first year for less than lunch. That's a real option and we're not going to pretend it isn't. It's just a different product.

Someone is actually at the address

Not a forwarding arrangement. That's a fixed cost per day whether anything arrives or not, and it's most of what you're paying for on the days nothing happens.

The filings are done by people

Preparing a report, checking it against the current record and submitting it takes a trained person twenty minutes. Sending an automated reminder takes nobody any time at all. The price difference is that difference.

The price doesn't jump at renewal

A cheap first year is usually a customer acquisition cost recovered in year two. Compare the second-year number, not the first — ours is the same as the first.

Government fees aren't a profit centre

A lot of the gap between a headline price and an invoice lives in marked-up filing fees. Ours are at cost, which means our service price has to carry the business honestly.

Documents are kept, not purged

Retention is storage, indexing and liability for years after the work. Deleting everything at ninety days is genuinely cheaper. It's also the reason people can't find their own formation documents.

We answer the phone

Support that resolves things costs more per customer than support designed to absorb them. If your entity is straightforward and you enjoy filing your own reports, a cheap agent is a rational choice. Most people who call us have already tried that.

Billing questions

How the money actually works.

Nothing in here should be a surprise on an invoice. If it is, we've written it badly — tell us.

Annual or monthly?: Annual by default, because the obligations are annual and it's cheaper for both of us. Corporate plans can be billed monthly or quarterly if that suits your accounting; ask and we'll set it up.
Card or ACH?: Both. Card is instant and fine for a single entity. For multi-entity accounts, ACH avoids card expiry cascades — the single most common cause of an accidental lapse in agent service is a card that expired quietly in March.
What happens at renewal?: We email you thirty days before, with the amount, which is the same amount as last year. It auto-renews unless you tell us not to. There is no introductory rate that expires, because there was no introductory rate.
Will my price go up?: Not without at least sixty days' written notice before a renewal, and not in your first year. If we ever do raise a price, you'll get the reason in the same email, not a silently larger invoice.
Refunds?: Full refund within thirty days of signing up if we haven't yet filed anything on your behalf. After a filing has been submitted, the service fee for that filing isn't refundable — the work is done and the government fee is gone. Unused whole years on a multi-year prepayment are refunded pro rata.
What if I cancel mid-year?: You keep the service until the term ends, and you can export everything in your vault before and after. We won't resign as your agent without notice, because a sudden vacancy in the appointment is a compliance problem for you rather than for us.
Are government fees included in the plan price?: No, and nobody's are. Plan prices cover our work. Government filing fees are charged separately at cost, shown before submission, with the receipt attached to your file.
Do you charge for support?: No. Phone calls, questions, and telling you that something you're about to do is a bad idea are all part of the plan.
Is there a setup fee?: No setup fee, and no transfer fee. The first invoice is the plan price plus any government fee for a filing you've asked us to make.
